Who I am.
A dedicated and empathetic therapist with 15 years of experience, specializing in fostering positive change for individuals, families, and communities. My practice focuses on helping clients achieve fulfilling, purpose-driven lives, enhancing their overall well-being and joy.
I offer support to families, young adults, high achievers, and couples seeking increased confidence, focus, and clarity. My approach is informed by a range of evidence-based modalities, including Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic/Sensory Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care. My goal is to provide personalized, effective guidance to help clients realize their full potential.
During my licensure supervision, I worked with The Virginia Child and Family Attachment Center in Charlottesville, where I supported families in strengthening their bonds and gaining deeper self-awareness. This experience has profoundly influenced my therapeutic approach, with a continued emphasis on attachment work.
As a Virginia Board Certified LCSW, I hold degrees in social work and psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and Old Dominion University. I have been in private practice since 2019, with a brief sabbatical for personal recovery.
My background includes a diverse upbringing by creative parents and experience working at an experiential education camp, which ignited my passion for psychology and social work. I also have interests in auto mechanics, carpentry, music, athletics, and nutrition. My long-term vision includes establishing a therapeutic center on a farm to provide natural therapy and support for youth in the foster care system.
